リサイクルシルク+リサイクルコットンのパフ / 
 Recycled silk & cotton pads

国産のパフがなかなか見つからなかったことをきっかけに、SILKKIオリジナルのシルクコットンの生地を⽤いて、オリジナルのパフを製作しました。

シルクは絹紡糸を紡ぐ際に発生する落ちわたを再利用したリサイクルシルク糸を用い、コットンは紡績工場で本来廃棄されてしまう落ちわたを再利用した柔らかなリサイクルコットン⽷を使っています。

その二つの素材を群⾺県桐⽣市にて交織し、ふんわり、しっとりとし た⾵合いに仕上げました。縫製も四角いパターンにすることで生産上のゼロウェイストを実現しています。

シルクは⽔をすぐに放湿し、菌を繁殖させない性質を持っています。そのため水を含ませても菌が繁殖せず臭いません。

A collaboration-face cleansing puff using SILKKI’s original silk cotton material.
The project started from not being able to find Japan-made facial rounds easily.

The silk is made of recycled silk yarn from silk that falls during the spinning process. The cotton is recycled in a similar manner, reusing fallen cotton from the spinning factory, which would usually be discarded.

The two materials are interwoven in Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture, to create this soft texture. By making it square, we made sure to be as zero-waste as possible during the sewing process, too.

Silk has the property of quickly releasing water and preventing the growth of bacteria. We hope you enjoy using this new puff, which we made to be as friendly as possible to both the environment and your skin. Comes in a set of 6.
